Evisense, a revolutionary tool for schools that will store and showcase events from a child’s time in education. Evisense will be used to record a pupil’s achievenemts and progress through photos, videos, audio and documents. Evisense is designed to be used from Early Years through to adolescence and beyond. We understand that Evisense will be used by a wide variety of educational providers, so we have designed our apps to be versatile in its use to help it meet each settings requirements.

Record Evidence
=============
Staff can use the app to capture and upload evidence immediately or use school cameras and other digital equipment - and upload it through the web site. Comments can added and the evidence can be linked to subjects, attainment levels and assessment points.
Share with Others
=============
Evidence is shared across the school as it is recorded. Parents can view evidence through the app on their mobile device and, if given permission can comment as well. Evisense makes home-school communication a doddle and can increase parental involvement in their childs education.
Moderate Work
===========
Linking photos, video and other files to curriculum areas and assessment points provides schools with a bank of evidence which they can use to moderate work. Professionals can quickly and easily view work of a similar ability, enabling them to make comparisons and support their academic judgements.
Linking to Connecting Steps
====================
Evisense allows you to link evidence to assessments points in Connecting Steps*, our market leading assessment platform. Connecting Steps covers a wide range of curriculums (for example EYFS, P Levels, Primary and Secondary curriculums in England). Evisense and Connecting Steps work alongside each other with users, groups and pupils being linked between both applications. Users in Connecting Steps can see which skills have been linked to evidence, and they can view evidence linked with subjects and levels as a whole.

Security

Security and safe guarding have been built in to the heart of Evisense. B Squared are already responsible for over 150,000 students records within Connecting Steps. Working with schools and local authorities over the last 20 years has given us a strong understanding of these institutions safe guarding policies. We have worked hard to meet every security and safe guarding issue raised by our customers and many, many more. The intention is that Evisense gives schools and parents every confidence that their child and their data are safe.
